Who I am

I'm Shikhar Agarwal. Twenty plus years spanning business applications, data and AI, and an early, hands-on adopter of AI in delivery, where the test was adoption and return rather than the demo. The pattern across most of it is the same: build the practice and methodology a team runs on, stabilize delivery on stalled or at-risk programs, and make sure what gets delivered actually gets used and pays off.

Where the thinking comes from

A lot of what I write traces back to recovery work. Years ago I stepped into a CRM program that ran green and turned red overnight. The delay was survivable. The silence before it was not, and the delivery leadership was replaced before anything could be reset. That gap, between the day someone knew and the day the sponsor heard, is still the thing I look for first.

Who this is for

I write for the people who carry delivery: C-suite and business leaders, delivery executives, product and operations leaders. The people who don't get to stop at the strategy deck.

The premise is simple. AI has made producing things nearly free. It has not made delivering things work. Judgment, sequencing, accountability and trust are now the constraint, and almost nobody is investing there.

What this is not

What you won't find here: model benchmarks, tool reviews, or predictions about the next release. Plenty of people cover the fast layer well. I'm interested in the part underneath that moves slowly and decides what survives.

What I argue

• Speed is a commodity. Sequencing is not.
• A pilot proves the technology exists, not that your organization can absorb it.
• Adoption under a mandate is compliance, not trust.
• Ambiguity is a decision, and usually the wrong one.
• When answers get cheap, adjudication becomes the whole job.
